🧠 Concept

Once a court scholar in Damascus, Nadim has survived the collapse of old alliances and the firestorms of the Crusades. He acts as a conduit for endangered knowledge, relics, and lore smuggled westward—he is both archivist and merchant, spy and philosopher.

Though Assamite, he is no assassin—he is a vizier, one of the clan’s erudite counselors. However, Christian suspicion and Tremere hostility in the West have forced him into a life of concealment, operating through coded letters, cut-outs, and mortal caravan masters.

He resents what the Crusaders have done to the East—but recognizes the new corridors of power that have opened as East and West collide. He walks a careful line between offering his wisdom and hiding his lineage.
